McGowan
Charters is family owned and
operated by Capt. Shawn and Dana McGowan. Capt. Shawn met Dana 15 years
ago when her family chartered his boat while on vacation from Little Rock, AR.
Marriage followed and they have three great kids.
Capt. Shawn grew up in Naples, FL, and has worked on boats since he was a teenager. He is an avid sportsman and has a degree in marine propulsion. Capt. Shawn has over 30 years boating experience and has been fishing the beautiful waters off Panama City Beach for over 15 years. Dana is the office manager and handles all reservations and answers any and all questions you might have about your trip.
Maggi is McGowan Charters 35 foot custom sport fishing boat with twin Caterpillar motors. Capt. Shawn has been captain of the Maggi since 1991 and in 2004 he and Dana purchased the boat.
